Following the latest COVID-19 guidelines issued by the NSW Department of Health and also Karting NSW.

The committee has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel our meeting scheduled for the 30th of August 2020.

The meeting for the 27th of September 2020 will be reviewed closer to time with the current COVID-19 restrictions of the day taken into account.

The NSWSKC takes the safety of its members, officials, volunteers, spectators and the wider speedway community seriously.

The NSW Chief Health Officer’s recommendations to cease activities that result in the mixing of participants and staff from different regions has played a major part in this decision.

As a socially responsible community sport with a strong family focus of inclusion that draws competitors from far and wide, Newcastle, South Coast, Camden area, Blue mountains and the Sydney basin it would be socially irresponsible for these competitors, and crews to come together in one place in the current COVID-19 climate.

Together we all need to play a small part in beating COVD-19 so we all can get back out on the track.
